Who we are
Rollabop is a game by Lippy Robotics Labs ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the Rollabop app and this website handle, and why.
The Rollabop app
No account, and no personal data held by us. Rollabop has no accounts or sign-in, and we do not run servers that collect information about you. Your progress and settings (levels, stars, sound, music and haptics) are stored only on your device. They are removed if you uninstall the app or clear its data.
Optional rewarded ads (Google AdMob). Rollabop offers optional video ads: you choose to watch one, for example to undo a move. These ads are provided by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, and to prevent fraud, Google may collect information from your device, such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, approximate location, device and app information, and how you interact with ads. We do not receive this information: Rollabop is only told whether an ad was watched to the end. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Your consent. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Rollabop asks for your consent with Google's consent message before any ad is requested. You can agree, decline, or choose options. You can change your choice at any time in Rollabop's Settings → Privacy options (shown where it applies).
App permissions. Rollabop uses internet access and network status (to load ads), the advertising ID (used by Google for ads, as above), and vibration (for optional haptics, which you can turn off in Settings).
Purchases. Rollabop has no in-app purchases at present. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.
Children
Rollabop is designed for players aged 13 and over, and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through Rollabop, please contact us and we will help.
Your choices and rights
- Change your ad consent at any time in Rollabop's Settings → Privacy options (where shown).
- Reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your Android settings (for example Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
- Your game progress stays on your device: uninstalling Rollabop or clearing its data removes it.
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access or delete personal data. Because we do not hold personal data from the app, requests about ad data are handled by Google (see the links above). For anything else, please contact us.
This website
This website is built to collect as little as possible:
- It uses no cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
- It has no accounts or sign-ups.
- Its fonts and images are served from this site, not from third-party services.
The support form. If you use the form on the Support page, what you type (your email address, message and any optional device details) is sent to us through Formspree, a form-handling service, and forwarded to our support inbox. It is used only to answer your request, kept only as long as needed to do so, and deleted within 12 months.
This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any website host, GitHub may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, for security and reliability. See the GitHub General Privacy Statement.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new "last updated" date.
