What is Rollabop?
A puzzle you can reach into.
Rollabop is played inside a tall walnut tray full of clear, glowing balls. Nothing is locked in place. Every ball has weight, and every move changes the pile.
-
Physical
Move any ball. Everything around it reacts.
-
Clever
Build rows of 3, 4, 5 or more. Bigger thinking earns bigger rewards.
-
Calm
No frantic clock. Observe the board and make your move.
-
Alive
Gravity, collisions and cascades can change the puzzle after every move.
How it plays
Five moments in every move.
-
Reach into the pile
Touch any ball, even one buried deep in the pile.
-
Move a ball
Carry it anywhere. The balls around it shift and make way.
-
Build a horizontal match
Line up 3 or more of the same kind in a row.
-
Watch the pile react
The match clears. Everything above it falls, bounces and settles.
-
Find the next opportunity
The pile has changed. Look again. Something new is waiting.
No grid. No swapping.
Balls are never locked into cells, and you never trade two neighbours. You carry a ball through a real pile, let go, and gravity decides what happens next.
Match 3 or more. Larger matches earn more.
Galaxy balls
Some balls are more than pieces.
Discover and collect spectacular Galaxy balls, each with its own miniature world inside.
Beauty, never power. A Galaxy ball's rarity or price never makes it stronger than another. Each Galaxy design simply forms its own matching family.
How Galaxy balls are discovered and collected will be shared closer to release.
Levels & puzzles
It begins with a match. It becomes a puzzle.
Early levels teach the feel of the pile. Later ones ask you to stop, look, and plan a move that sets off something bigger.
Handcrafted levels Planned
Designed by hand to reward a moment of insight.
Larger-match challenges In design
Goals that ask for rows of 4, 5 or more.
Cascades
Set up chain reactions where one clear causes the next.
Physical structures Planned
Elegant obstacles that change how the pile moves, later in the journey.
Mastery
Solved levels stay worth replaying. Finish in fewer moves to earn up to 3 stars.
Player-first design
Made to respect the player.
- No surprise ads.
- No fake urgency.
- No frantic timers.
- No pay-to-win progression.
- No punishment for thoughtful play.
Every level can be beaten by a thoughtful player without paying and without watching an ad.
Optional rewarded ads may come later, and only ever when you choose them.
Accessibility
Clear to see. Comfortable to play.
Rollabop is still in development. This is the direction we are building toward.
More than colour
Matching information should not rely on colour alone. Shape cues for each ball family are in development.
Readable contrast
Clear, high-contrast text and controls on the dark wood.
Every screen size
Layouts designed for phones, tablets and foldables, folded or open.
Your sound, your way
Sound, music and haptics controllable independently.
More to come
Additional accessibility options are planned.
